The North Shore Hospice is involved in many fundraising and community events. Here is a selection of this year's events, more will be added as they are confirmed.

Southern Cross Over

Sunday 28th February 2010
7pm, Bruce Mason Centre, Takapuna

For one night only, the Bruce Mason Centre brings you the new sound sweeping the globe - Classical Crossover - a fusion of classical styles with other music genres. "Southern Cross-over" features Australasia's finest young talent including internationally acclaimed Will Martin, the youngest tenor ever to top the UK Classical charts, and rising star Rebecca Wright, fresh from her lead role in 'Starlight Express' and upcoming lead role in 'Rent'. Plus female vocal sensation EVE, three beautiful voices with one amazing sound, about to take the UK by storm, Australian tenor Daniel Mallari, fresh from his summer concert series in Australia and The Auckland Youth Orchestra featuring Oboe Soloist Thomas Hutchinson.

$4 from each adult and $3 from each child's ticket will be donated to North Shore Hospice.

Heroic Gardens Festival

6 - 7 March 2010

All Auckland Hospices will once again benefit from The Heroic Gardens Festival. This fabulous two day garden festival includes over 30 gardens confirmed ranging from small city plots to large country gardens, the Rannoch Sculpture Forest and the Kelliher Estate on Puketutu Island.

Tickets are $30 each and can also be purchased at the gate on the day or you can also pay $5 at each garden. Additional volunteers to help on gates are welcome, please contact Rosemary if you would like to assist rosemarys@nshospice.org.nz.

North Shore Hospice Golf Day 2010

Save this date for the much anticipated North Shore Hospice Golf Day.

Programme Details:

There are various ways that you can support this day, not least of all by entering a team. If you are unable to play you could sponsor a hole or donate auction & raffle prizes. In the past this tournament has filled very quickly - it is a really enjoyable day and also a great way to entertain clients or friends while supporting a great cause.

North Shore Golf Club has once again kindly donated their course free of charge and PaR n.z. Golfing Holidays have very generously volunteered their time and expertise to co-ordinate this event.
